Doyin Okupe Declares Tinubu The Best of All Presidential Candidates

 Medical doctor, politician and former presidential aide, Doyin Okupe, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by declaring him the best of all candidates who contested in the presidential election of February 2023. This declaration about the president's is in spite of the fact that Doyin Okupe served as director-general of the Obi-Datti presidential campaign and also a member of the Labour Party before his resignation in January 2024 where he cited "ideological differences" as a reason for his departure from the Labour Party.

In a series of posts defending his reason for declaring president Tinubu the best candidate, Doyin Okupe emphasized Tinubu's commitment to Nigeria and his political knowledge. The former presidential aide also compared his interaction with Tinubu and the two other presidential candidates(Atiku and Obi) as another reason for his newfound trust in the president's ability to lead the country. He also urged not to judge Tinubu's with the same lens as the past ones because the president took office after a period of neglect in governance.
