 Nigerian radio personality, television host, vlogger, lifestyle entrepreneur, actress and author, Toke Makinwa, has during the launch of her latest business, a perfume collection, appreciated her mother for her efforts towards making her a success. Speaking at the launch of her perfume collection, the media personality narrated her struggles with her academics while enthusiastically detailing her antics in her attempt to deceive her mother over her woeful results. Toke Makinwa in her speech, declared the incident with her mother, the one event that shaped her life the most.

Toke Makinwa launched her fragrance collection “Toke Makinwa Beauty” at an event which took place on Tuesday 7th March 2024, in Victoria Island Lagos. The launch of the perfume collection was attended by celebrities and media personalities across the country. Some of whom included: Nollywood actors Iyabo Ojo, Toyin Abraham,Toni Tones, reality TV stars Liquorose and Venita, alongside music mogul Paulo Okoye.
