Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has appointed Basirat Damilola Marshall, daughter of Fuji maestro, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, a.k.a KWAM1, as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on tourism. The news of Ms. Marshall's appointment was revealed by her father in an appreciation and congratulatory message posted on his daughter's Instagram account. KWAM1 also thanked Governor Sanwo-Olu for his daughter's appointment during his performance at the coronation and birthday reception of Oba Sikirullah Apena. The Fuji maestro attributed the acknowledgment to his daughter, Basirat Damilola, who urged her father to publicly appreciate the governor.

Prior to her appointment as Senior Special Assistant to the governor on tourism, Damilola served as a principal partner at Damilola Ayinde Marshal and Co., a law firm. Despite attempts to confirm the appointment from the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the Lagos State Governor, Gboyega Akosile, there was no response to the inquiry sent to his WhatsApp number at the time of this report.
