Portable Arrested Over G-Wagon Debt

Nigerian singer and songwriter Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has been arrested by officers of The Lagos State Police Command over his refusal to pay the debt he incurred when he purchased a G-Wagon from a car dealer in Lagos. According to reports, the singer had purchased a vehicle worth 27 million naira, paid the sum of 13 million naira but refused to pay the rest of the 14 million naira balance. The singer consistently refused to pay the balance of the vehicle's payment because he claimed that the vehicle has a series of issues. The singer's refusal to pay his debt led the car dealer to seek police intervention in order to recover the rest of the payment.
