Singer and music producer Peter Okoye also known as Mr P, has revealed that he has commenced the process of having a hair transplant surgery in Istanbul, Turkey's largest city. Sharing photos and a video of his progress on his Instagram account, Mr P wrote: Say goodbye to baldness." The singer also stated that he was undergoing the transplant in order to "look good'' for his fans while admitting that he had been uncomfortable with his baldness for some time.

In another video on his Instagram story, Peter Okoye showcased the hair transplant’s progress while taking a lunch break. He affirmed that about 2,400 strands of hair were extracted from different parts of his head to be transplanted to the bald regions on his hairline. In his words: "The extraction part is done, we have about 2400 and it’s time to eat. I feel better 100%, nothing to worry about; just to look good for you guys.''
