Mohbad's Mum Files Petition Against Dad Over Threats to Life

 

Mrs. Abosede Olumiyi, mother of the late singer Mohbad, has filed a petition against her ex-husband, Joseph Aloba, alleging threats to her life. 

Through her lawyer, Kabir Akingbolu, she claims Aloba has been threatening her for refusing to fabricate falsehoods against Mohbad's wife, Omowunmi, regarding the singer's death.

According to SaharaReporters, Abosede stated that Aloba has been granting interviews and threatening her life on social media.

She alleged that strangers have been monitoring her former residence, forcing her to relocate due to the threats. Aloba allegedly posted her new address online, bragging that he would eventually harm her.

The petition reads: "Our client is living in fear... she just wants her son to be laid to rest peacefully." It requests the authorities to intervene and save her life, stating, "We hope you will employ your power to get justice for our client and save her life."
