An employee of the Taidom Filling Station located in Alaroro in the Ijoko area of Ogun State, has been decapitated by alleged members of a cult gang. According to reports, the murdered fuel attendant identified simply as Seun, was first shot by his unknown assailants before he was beheaded and his body taken away by his attackers. Further witness reports state that the killers had left the pump attendant's dangling on a bridge as a message to their alleged rivals.
Following the rather bizarre murder which took place on the premises of the filling station on Saturday 25th May 2024, some anonymous users of the social media platform X, have replied tweets regarding Seun's murder, with claims of being responsible for the deed as well as intentions to meet similar fate on other members of the deceased's gang, allegedly known as "The Eiye". Reacting to the shocking beheading, some residents of the Ijoko community have expressed fear for their lives with others firmly stating that they had intentions of fleeing the area in fear of any acts of recrimination or revenge that might be carried out by the other members of Seun's cult group.
