Fortune Teller Arrested for Impregnating Client

 A 25 year old man identified as Ahmadu Saminu, who hails from Bajoga in the Funakaye Local Government Area of Gombe State, has been arrested by officers of the Gombe State Police Command for Impregnating a client. According to reports, Saminu who was widely known in the community and neighbouring areas as a fortune teller and clairvoyant, had hypnotized and had sexual relations with the victim, when she paid him a private visit in order to obtain interpretation of a dream she had had the night before.

Confirming the arrest and allegations of sexual assault against the fortune teller, Public Relations Officer of The Gombe State Police Command, ASP Buhari Abdullahi, stated: "The victim is 20 years. Her husband, Bashiru Bello, reported the case. She dreamt about her mother being a witch and needed an interpretation into what she said she saw only for her to visit Saminu to know what she needed to do. But she was lured into his room.” The Police PRO however emphasized that there was yet no confirmation of the victim's allegation of pregnancy as they awaited a medical report to back up her claim of having miscarried the pregnancy that occurred as a result of the Ahmadu Saminu's sexual defilement.
