The police CP further stated that these suspects sold their victims to two people named Kulu Dongoyaro and Elizabeth Ojah, in exchange for money ranging between 150 to 200,000 naira. The child traffickers (Kulu Dongoyaro and Elizabeth Ojah) had told the abductors that the children were taken to an NGO located in Abuja, the nation's capital, where they were cared for and their welfare catered to.  The rescued children have now been taken to a real orphanage run by the Sokoto State Government.
