Fake EFCC Operatives Arrested

 The Nasarawa State Police Command has provided details regarding the arrest of three armed robbers who had been presenting themselves as officials of The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The arrested impostors identified as Hyelda Aliyu Ibrahim, Henry Patrick Okwu, and Shuaibu Abubakar had been part of a gang of robbers who using a Toyota Corolla and posing as EFCC officials had robbed some students of Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa at Samakwe Lodge, behind Government College, Nasarawa LGA and Abducted one Adudu Kingsley, an ND II Student of the same Polytechnic.

Public Relations Officer of The Nasarawa State Police Command, DSP Ramhan Nansel, publicly confirmed the news of the impostor gang members arrest and stated that the arrest was made possible as a result of a distress call received by the police regarding the robbers fake identities. Roadblocks mounted across the polytechnic's vicinity led to the sighting and eventual arrests of the fleeing robbers. The operational vehicle of the suspects was recovered and taken to the Station where a search was conducted and two identification cards identifying the fleeing members of the syndicate were recovered. The police also discovered the fake EFCC identity cards, an Iphone 12 promax, a Hauwei phone, and a Tecno Spark pone in the possession of these captured robbers and impostors.
