Video:"Buy Meatpie Before I Buy Fuel" Customer Laments Filling Station Policy

 In a video making the rounds on the internet, a prospective customer has angrily called out an unidentified branch of the Total Energies Filling Station over a ridiculous condition given customers before fuel can be purchased. According to the voice in the video, the attendants at the filling station had insisted that all customers must purchase meatpie before fuel could be sold to them.

Reacting to the video, various netizens narrated their ordeals at different filling stations in the country in the course of purchasing fuel for their vehicles or personal use. Netizens also lamented the artificial scarcity created by specific filling station outlets across the country through their hoarding actions and unnecessary conditions given to patrons. Nigerians also detailed the various means through which the management of different filling stations have attempted to sell fuel to only a select number of buyers without any form of explanation for the favouritism.
