Sheffield United has already surpassed the lowest points tally in Premier League history, held by Derby County with 11 points in 2007-08, and risks accumulating the third-fewest points in a 38-game season if they lose their remaining three matches.
The team will finish the season with home games against Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur, and an away game at Everton's Goodison Park.
Sheffield United's next season is off to a rough start, as they will begin the Championship season with a -2 point deficit due to sanctions from the English Football League for defaulting on payments to other clubs.
