Indian Language School Located in Lagos Probed for Denying Nigerians Admission

 The Indian Language School located in the Ilupeju area of Lagos state, has come under investigation by the Lagos State Government after claims of the school denying admission to Nigerian citizens emerged. The attention on The Indian Language School's alleged discrimination against prospective Nigerian enrollees, comes just a few days after a Chinese owned store located in Abuja was sealed for banning Nigerians from shopping in the establishment.

Reacting to the situation of The Indian Language School, the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, assured Nigerians that the Ministry of Education had become abreast of the alleged discriminatory practices and would commence investigation with immediate effect. The commissioner emphasized the state government’s stance against all forms of discrimination, while affirming Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s commitment to inclusivity and fairness.
