Husband and Wife Stabbed to Death in Abuja

 An eighty year old man and his wife, were on 3rd April 2024, found dead with their throats slit, in their own home located in the Apo Legislative Quarters of the country's capital, Abuja. The lifeless bodies of the couple, Mr Adebola and Mrs Abiodun Ezekiel, were discovered by a security guard in the area, who had been sent by the son of the deceased to check up on his parents after several attempts to reach them on the phone went unanswered.

The tragic double murders occurred on 1st April 2024 at about 10:00pm and until the time of his murder, the octogenarian, Mr Adebola Ezekiel, had been confined to a wheelchair. Confirming the murders of the elderly couple which was reported to the station by their son, Seun Ezekiel, in a distress call put across to the authorities after the security guard's discovery of his butchered parents, spokesperson of The Abuja Police, Josephine Adeh, revealed that investigation regarding the murder of the husband and wife, was ongoing.
