First Lady Face-Off: Governor Adeleke's Wives in Tussle Over Position of Power Ahead of Remi Tinubu's Arrival

A peculiar situation is unfolding in Osun State, where the two wives of Governor Ademola Adeleke, Ngozi and Titilola, are engaged in a subtle competition to assert their position as the First Lady of the state.

Both women have printed separate posters, which have gone viral, welcoming Nigeria's First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, to Osun State.

The posters feature their names and pictures, with each wife claiming the title of First Lady.

Ngozi Adeleke's poster reads, "Welcome to the state of living spring. Experience the beauty of Osun State's landscape," and is signed off as the First Lady of Osun State. Meanwhile, Titilola Adeleke's poster welcomes Mrs. Tinubu to the "Official turning of the sod ceremony of the Alternative High School For Girls at Oke D.O, Ilesha Road, Osogbo," and also bears the signature of the First Lady of Osun State.

This development comes ahead of Mrs. Tinubu's visit to Osogbo on Tuesday for the sod-turning ceremony of the Alternative High School For Girls. The dual claims to the First Lady title have sparked interest and curiosity among the public, as it remains unclear which wife will assume the official duties and responsibilities of the First Lady of Osun State.
