O.J. Simpson has passed away at the age of 76 after a prolonged battle with cancer. The former NFL player gained notoriety in the 90s after he was acquitted for the double murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman, died in Las Vegas on Wednesday 10th April, 2024. His family put up a post on social media announcing his demise and implored that the public respect their wishes for privacy.

Orenthal James Simpson better known as O.J Simpson, gained notoriety and was a subject of great legal conversation after his trial and controversial acquittal for the murders of his former wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman.The pursuit, arrest, and trial(which has been dubbed The Trial of The Century) of Simpson were among the most widely publicized events in American history. Although cleared of the murders, O.J's reputation was ruined forever and the latter part of his career was marked by a series of seedy ventures. One of the members of O.J's defense team was Robert Kardashian, father of the reality TV stars Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian.
