BREAKING: Bobrisky Sentenced to 6 Months in Prison

 Following the arrest of crossdresser social media personality, Idris Olarewaju Okuneye, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on charges of naira abuse and money laundering, the crossdresser who was arraigned at a Federal High Court in Lagos on Friday 5th April 2024 and was denied bail by the judge, has been handed a prison sentence of six months, without an option of fine.

The judgement which was handed the crossdresser was on the morning of 12 April 2024 by Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court was initially supposed to have been given on 9th April, 2024(but was postponed as a result of the national holidays) following his arraignment on 5th April on counts of naira abuse and money laundering (which was later struck out). Until he was handed his sentence on 12 April, Bobrisky remained in custody of The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission as ordered by the judge.
