Adamawa Man Murders Wife, Detains Her at Home, Flees to Ondo State

 The police in Adamawa State have detained a 40-year-old man identified as Riba Kwanta for purportedly fatally assaulting his wife, Godiya Akwale, on December 25, 2023.

The suspect, originally from Bode in Shelleng LGA, allegedly took the life of his spouse of three years, confined her within their residence, and subsequently absconded to Ondo State.

SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the command's spokesperson, while confirming the incident, affirmed that the suspect will face legal proceedings once the investigation concludes.
