Photos: Herbert Wigwe, Wife and Son Laid to Rest

Following the tragic deaths of Access Bank CEO, Herbert Wigwe, his wife and son in a helicopter crash in Nevada USA, the trio have been buried in private tombs erected in the university, privately owned by the family, The Wigwe University located in the family's hometown of Isiokpo, Ikwerre Local Government Area, Rivers State. The father, mother and son, were buried at about 2:45pm on Saturday 9th March, after a private funeral ceremony conducted by the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Isiokpo.

The somber funeral ceremony witnessed the attendance of dignitaries and politicians across the country. Some of whom include: Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, The Labour Party's presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, former governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, former Senate president of the federation, Dr Bukola Saraki, governor of Abia state, Alex Otti, former Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, billionaire entrepreneur, Aliko Dangote, amongst others.
