Mohbad Father Denies Allegations of Plotting Escape for Primeboy

Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad, refuted allegations of orchestrating an escape plan for Owodunni Ibrahim, also known as Primeboy, following his son's demise.

Responding to claims made by the deceased's mother, Bosede Adeyemo, Aloba clarified that he had no prior interaction with Primeboy since the incident occurred.

Contrary to Adeyemo's assertions that he instructed Primeboy to flee to evade arrest and implication in Mohbad's death, Aloba, through his lawyer Monisola Odumosu, emphasized that he had only encountered Primeboy during the coroner's court proceedings.

A statement released by Aloba's lawyer emphasized his pursuit of justice for his late son, discrediting Adeyemo's claims and urging Primeboy to truthfully testify in court without shielding anyone. Aloba maintained his commitment to uncovering the truth, urging the public to dismiss unfounded allegations and encouraging Adeyemo to disclose any pertinent information regarding Mohbad's death.

The statement from Aloba's lawyer read in part, “Our client wishes to state that he did not and has not had any talks or discussions relating to the death of his son or any other issues with the said Primeboy since the death of his son, Ilerioluwa Aloba."

“The only time they met after the death of his son was at the coroner’s court sitting where Primeboy and our client only exchanged pleasantries in the presence of everyone, and there was no discussions between them.”

“We urge the general public to disregard such spurious assertions. Rather, our client urges Ms. Adeyemo to declare what she knows about the death of Mohbad,” the statement added.
