Czech Republic Wins 71st Miss World

Krystyna Pyszková of Czech Republic, has been crowned the 71st Winner of the yearly Miss World Beauty Pageant. The 71st Miss World 2024 took place on March 9 in Mumbai, India. Miss World 2022 Karolina Bielawska from Poland, crowned her successor, Krystyna Pyszková of Czech Republic. Krystyna Pyszková's victory marks the second time a contestant from Czech Republic has claimed the Miss World crown since Tatana Kucharova's victory in 2006. Prior to winning Miss Czech Republic, 25 year old Krystyna Pyszková was studying law at Charles University in Prague, and management at MCI Management Center Innsbruck in Innsbruck.

With India hosting the 71st Miss World pageant after its first hosting 28 years ago, contestants from 115 countries competed against each other to win the coveted crown.  Yasmina Zaytoun of Lebanon was the first runner-up  with host country's Sini Shetty(Miss India) securing a spot amongst the top 8. Miss World 2025 will be the 72nd edition of the Miss World pageant, Krystyna Pyszková of Czech Republic will crown her successor at the end of the event which is scheduled to hold on March 9 2025, in Manila, Phillippines.
