Breaking: VerydarkMan Finally Gains Freedom

The Nigerian police have finally released the detained social media influencer, Martins Vincent Otse, who is widely known as VeryDarkMan.

The police had earlier cited the Easter break as the reason for not releasing him on Easter Day, despite earlier assurances.

The Police Service Commission Chairman, Dr Solomon Arase, had given the green light for VeryDarkMan's release, but investigating officers on duty claimed they had not received any instructions.

It was later disclosed that the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) for the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja, Mr Sylvester Abiodun Alabi, had indicated that the lawyers representing VeryDarkMan could return on Tuesday after the Easter break to facilitate his release.

The police eventually released the social media influencer.

AAC Presidential Candidate, Omoyele Sowore shared the good news on Easter Sunday, expressing gratitude for the collective efforts to ensure justice prevailed.
