A 39-year-old man identified as Prosper Ebhoze, has been remanded in a correctional centre by the Ogudu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for allegedly defiling an 11-year-old girl.
Ebhoze, residing at No 14, Oke-Owo, off Oka-Omo Street, Alapere-Ketu, faces a defilement charge.
Prosecuting counsel, Insp Donjour Perezi told the court that the incident occurred at noon on Oja-Omo Street, Alapere, Ketu, where Ebhoze, the father's apprentice, assaulted the girl after she sought her father at his workshop.

The offence contravenes section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State.
Chief Magistrate M.O Tanimola adjourned the case to March 13 for legal advice from the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecutions.
