Author, media aide, social commentator and controversial political analyst Reno Omokri, has worn his prophetic hat to declare that the Labour Party's presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, Mr Peter Obi, will be recontesting in the future presidential election of 2027. Leaving his reasons for his declaration in a lengthy post on his official social media handle, Reno Omokri claimed that Mr Peter Obi's visits to anywhere disasters have recently occurred in the country are more than enough evidence of his intentions.

Subtly accusing the presidential candidate of bias, Reno Omokri stated that Mr Obi is never quick to respond or take actions when tragic incidents or situations happen in Igbo states as he does for other regions in the country. Lampooning supporters of Mr Peter Obi, Reno assured that any attempt to recontest in 2027 will be met with fewer votes than those gotten in the 2023 elections as a result of the leaked audio recording where the presidential candidate had allegedly sought political favours from Christian leaders through influential General Overseer of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo.
