Pastor Adeboye Bans RCCG Pastors from Inviting External Preachers

 General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has issued a directive instructing all pastors of the Redeemed Church to desist from inviting external preachers and nonmembers of the church, to RCCG branches nationwide. In a memo circulating the internet, the ban warning RCCG pastors to halt invitation of nonmembers to deliver sermons at the church, stated that "anyone intending to invite a guest minister, speaker or preacher to their parish must ensure that the individual is a recognised member of the RCCG.”

The memo also emphasized that any minister who violates the directive would face “severe disciplinary measures and may be relieved of their ministerial duties in the Mission." The memo dated 5th January, 2024 and signed by the Special Adviser to the General Overseer, was directed to all Continental Overseers, Deputy Continental Overseers, Assistant Continental Overseers, and Pastors in charge of Regions/Provinces worldwide.
