King Charles Hospitalized for Surgery

 King of The United Kingdom, Charles III, has been hospitalized following a reportedly successful prostate surgery. The 75 year old monarch through Buckingham Palace, publicly revealed his struggles with his prostate on 17 January 2024, as a means to encourage other men to get their checked. According to the British Broadcasting Corporation, following the king's disclosure of his struggles with his prostate, the NHS website saw a surge in searches about enlarged prostates.

King Charles' corrective procedure for an enlarged prostate, was carried out at the London Clinic private hospital with reports stating that the King is doing well and is expected to spend at least one night at the hospital. The king was accompanied into the hospital by his wife and queen, Camilla. The move was seen as unusual by palace observers, as the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip always went into hospital by themselves.
