"We're Hungry!" Traders Yell at Tinubu

Lagosians and traders who ply their wares in the popular Idumota market located in Lagos Island, on Friday 29th December 2023, expressed dissatisfaction with President Bola Tinubu as his motorcade made its way to the mosque, shouting in Yoruba, “Ebi npa wa oo”(we're hungry). The market crowd staring intently at president's convoy, screamed of their famished state while standing on both sides of the road as the president and his retinue of security operatives drove and walked past the aggrieved Nigerians.

In addition to expressing their famished state, the traders and passers-by were heard daring the president to do away with convoy and speak to them like their father and leader. President Tinubu who is a former governor of Lagos state, is currently spending the time in Lagos in celebration of the Christmas and New Year  holiday.
