Nigerian singer and songwriter Johnn Ighodaro better known as Johnny Drille, has announced the birth of his first child, Amaris Esohe Ighodaro. Revealing the birth via a video posted on his official social media platform, the singer informed fans and followers that his baby daughter was born on 17 November, 2023. Referring to her birth as "the most miraculous thing" he's ever known, Johnny Drille prayed to God to help him be the best father to his daughter.

John Drille is married to Rima Tahini, who is the Director of Artiste and Repertoire (A&R) at Mavin Global, one of the biggest indigenous record labels in Africa founded by Don Jazzy. She is also a Senior Adviser at Kupanda Capital. Rima was born in Sierra Leone to a Lebanese father and a Sierra Leonean mother. The couple got married in a secret ceremony in late 2021, the news was first made public on social media on July 4 2023, by Mavin Records boss and CEO Michael Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy. Johnny Drille further confirmed the news of his marriage when he made official posts on his social media platforms.
