 In an interview with talk show host, Chude Jideonwo, Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw, has given insight on her relationship with colleague Genevieve Nnaji as well as perceptions on her personality. Speaking candidly, Kate Henshaw stated that she's had her issues with Genevieve but she's always loved her. Likening Genevieve to Hollywood star, Angelina Jolie, Kate Henshaw revealed that Genevieve could sometimes be withdrawn and often wants to be left alone.

Considered the "ice queen" of Nollywood, Genevieve Nnaji has gained a reputation for her aloofness and her heavy inclinations for privacy as well as her seemingly unsociable behaviour. Nicknamed "Queen Genny", Genevieve won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2005, making her the first actor to win the award. In 2011, she was honoured as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic by the Nigerian government for her contributions to Nollywood. Her directorial debut movie, Lionheart, is the first Netflix film from Nigeria and the first Nigerian submission for the Oscars.
