Following a video showing the first lady of Osun state, Mrs Titilayo Adeleke, dressed in a party attire and being helped with her earrings by a policewoman, netizens have reacted by harshly condemning the action. Querying why an officer of the law should assist with such menial duties, users of the social media platform X, demanded an explanation for the video.

Other netizens wondered if taxpayers money was meant to turn police officers into assistant make up artists and declared that mundane civil acts like the one captured in the video, are reasons talks of police reforms are impossible. Users of social media further asserted that Nigerians promote a master/slave relationship in their professional dealings as well as amongst security agencies.
