"Two Years Later, No Justice" Sylvester Oromoni's Relative Laments

 An uncle of the twelve year old old student of Dowen College Lagos, Sylvester Oromoni, who tragically lost his life on 30th November 2021, as a result of alleged torture and bullying he suffered at the hands of senior students of the college, has revealed that two years after his nephew's demise, the family his yet to get receive. Narrating the family's experience on  the social media platform X, @perrisonooromoni stated that Dowen College repeatedly harassed Sylvester's father to forget about the case with claims of having millions of dollars to fight him in court.

@perrisonooromoni further revealed the machinations of the Nigerian Bar Association in trying to disrupt the case as well as the myriad excuses of the judge who called in sick at nearly every court date. Sylvester's uncle lamented at the severe uselessness of the Nigerian justice system while recounting the pain, anger and emotional torture experienced by members of the late twelve year old's relatives in their quest for justice. It will be recalled that following pleas from Sylvester's father, it took more than one year for the state and private pathologists to conclude their different autopsies on Sylvester's corpse which led to the young boy being buried more than one year after he passed away.
