The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has warned skitmakers and social workers against the unauthorized use of its operational identities for skitmaking. In a post put up on its official social media handles, the Commission, criticized a comedy skit code-named "EFCC and Army Wahala" released by a skitmaker known as Mr Mej. The skit which is gradually making the rounds on social media, depicts The EFCC in a power tussle with officers of The Nigerian Army.

In their official statement, The Commission labelled the comedy skit a "caricature of the operational etiquette of The EFCC" while emphasizing that its real operatives are not bullies. EFCC's Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale,who signed the public statement, sternly warned that The Commission would not hesitate to bring to book anyone caught displaying its operational identities for any engagement.
