Police Arrest Mr Ibu's Sons, Adopted Daughter As Wife Reportedly Wants Access To Donated Funds

 Stella Maris, the wife of ailing comic actor Mr. Ibu, has reportedly instigated the arrest of his daughter, Jasmine, and sons over the purported disappearance of funds raised for his medical care.

Actress Doris Ogala who made this known on her Instagram page, said Ibu's children are being held at the Alagbon police station in Lagos.

The actess said Mr Ibu's wife, Stella Maris accused Jasmine and her stepbrothers of withdrawing 300 million naira from the dedicated account for Mr. Ibu’s donations.

She alleged that Stella Maris desires to use funds to purchase a new home for herself.

According to Doris, police investigations revealed that the total contributions did not amount to 300 million naira.

In her words:

“Jasmine and Ibu’s sons were arrested at Alagbon Police Station. They are detained there. Ibu’s wife alleged that Jasmine moved 300 million out of the account Ibu’s wife allegedly wanted them to buy her new house from the money contributed so far for Ibu’s treatments.

“That’s why she arrested Jasmine. But investigation states that the money contributed isn’t even up to 300 million”.
