Mohbad's Death:Naira Marley and Sam Larry Regain Freedom after Weeks in Custody

 Nigerian singer and music executive Azeez Fashola, better known as Naira Marley and music promoter Balogun Olamilekan Eletu known as Sam Larry, who were both arrested as a result of ongoing investigation as to the cause of rising music star Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba professionally known as Mohbad's mysterious death, have been released from prison after paying the sum of 20 million naira to post their respective bail. Naira Marley was taken into custody for interrogation and other investigative activities over the death of his former singee, Mohabd, on 6th October while Sam Larry was arrested on the night of September 29, 2023, just a few weeks after the 12 September death of Mohbad.

The duo gained freedom on the evening of Friday 17th November after fulfilling conditions of the bail granted them on 6th November, 2023 by a Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos. As part of their bail conditions, the magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun, decreed that the defendants submit their passports and ordered that they are to report weekly to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti. Naira Marley and Sam Larry's respective release was confirmed by spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin.
