While affirming that cases of men reporting domestic violence done against them increased the last year, Mrs Vivour-Adeniyi expressed worries over the increased rate of male battering, stating that the agency “Is currently handling the cases with the aim to find an amicable resolution.” The DSVA Executive Secretary also assured that just as it is with domestic violence against women, spousal violence against men is also a crime and the guilty party will be duly prosecuted after thorough investigation is carried out by the authorities.
