Logistics manager of singer Davido, Israel Afeare better known as Isreal DMW and his wife of one year have confirmed rumours of their split via individual posts calling each other out. In his posts, Isreal DMW accused his wife Sheila of showing ingratitude towards all of his financial provision and earnestly trying to cause a rift in his relationship with his boss, Davido. While hurling cusses at her, Isreal DMW claimed to have deceived by his wife's piety and her "virginity".

Narrating her side of the story, DMW's wife Sheila Courage, countered her husband's accusations by stating that he had refused to embark on more productive ventures to obtain a more solid means of livelihood despite her urging. She stated he was more content with being his boss's "boy" and revealed her husband had physically and emotionally abused her. Sheila Courage also claimed that Isreal DMW had gone to beat up her at her shop, she further debunked her husband's claims of having pulled her out of poverty by stating that she grew up in a comfortable home and even had two of her siblings sent to reputable private universities on her father's income. The aggrieved wife explained that her father was first cousins with former governor of Edo state, Adams Oshiomhole.
