How Nigeria is raising a generation of depressed youths -- Veteran producer, ID Cabasa

 Veteran music producer and singer, Olumide Ogunade, more known as ID Cabasa, has declared that Nigeria is raising a generation of depressed people.

ID Cabasa famed for launching stars like Lord of Ajasa, Reminisce, 9ice, Olamide into stardom with his Coded Tunes records back in the days made this known on his social media page.

While expresing concern over the mental health of Nigerian youths, ID Cabassa pointed out the prevalence of depression and addiction to hard drugs among the youths, the music producer noted that the country is potentially losing a generation to the twin scourges.

In his words:

“We are raising a generation of depressed people who are addicted to drugs.

“During the COVID-19, we took care of a depressed top artist who was seriously addicted to drugs”, he said.
