Buhari In First Interview Since Leaving Office Says He Doesn't Miss Being President

 Immediate past Nigeria's President, Muhammadu Buhari has for the first time since leaving office granted a post-presidency interview.

Buhari in an interview with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), said that he does not miss his time as president.

Buhari when asked about what he misses from his time in office, responded:

 “Miss. I don’t think I miss much.”

NTA had released the teaser of the interview on its X handle, with the full version of the interview to be aired on Monday by 10:30 pm.

Buhari at the twilight of his presidency said he would not miss his time in office because he was being “harassed”.

He said in December 2022, that he was doing his best for Nigerians, but it was not good enough.

“I believe I’m trying my best, but still my best is not good enough. I wonder if I am going to miss much. I think I’m being harassed,” Buhari had said.

While being probed on the nature of his illness when he was President, Buhari said:

“I think only my doctor can honestly answer this question".
