16 Year old Arrested for Rape of Two Little Girls

The Kebbi state Hisbah Board has confirmed the arrest a sixteen year old male for the alleged rape of two young girls aged five and six, respectively. According to a post made by the Kebbi state Hisbah on social media, the suspect named Habibu Umar, resident in Badariya district of the state, confessed to the crime after medical investigation at the Hisbah Dana Hospital showed that he had indeed raped the two girls.

The post by the Kebbi state Hisbah also stated that the sixteen year old has been handed over to the police for more investigation. The post by the Hisbah board reads in part: "The investigation of Hisbah Dana Hospital on the test conducted by the doctor showed Habibu raped the children. When asked, Habibu confirmed to Hisbah that he did what he was accused of. Hisbah sent them to the police for a deeper investigation and to present him before the court."
