Video: "I don't Want My Legs to be Cut Off" Mr Ibu Implores Nigerians

 Veteran Nollywood actor John Okafor popularly known as Mr Ibu, has in a now viral video implored Nigerians to come to his financial aid. In the video, the actor was captured celebrating his birthday amidst members of his family, while on a hospital bed. In the course of the recording, it was obvious that the comic actor was in a great of physical discomfort. In addition to seeking help, Mr Ibu urged Nigerians to pray on his behalf as medical personnel were contemplating an amputation if other solutions failed. He solemnly appealed that he did not want to lose his legs.

John Okafor AKA Mr Ibu, hails from Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu state. His acting roles include over 200 Nollywood films. Mr Ibu is considered one of Nigeria's most talented and highest paid comic characters. John Okafor earned the moniker Mr Ibu after the titular character of a blockbuster film he acted in 2004. However, John Okafor claims to have inherited the name Mr Ibu from his grandfather.
