In a video making the rounds on the internet, a birthday celebrant identified as Alhaja Oluwatoyin Bucknor has in a burst of anger, lashed at attendees of her 70th birthday party who failed to purchase her "Asoebi" fabric. In the middle of the birthday party which held in London, the celebrant vehemently warned those in attendance without wearing her chosen fabric to leave the party. She also stated that failure to adhere her instructions would mean such a person isn't interested in staying alive until the age of 70. The birthday celebrant further warned that whomever ate her food without buying her fabric would have such a meal coming out of their noses.

Guests at the party were heard reacting with shock at the celebrant's outburst with a number of guests abruptly leaving the venue. They complained that the birthday celebrant's were overly abusive for her age while stating that her behavior was unrefined and deeply insulting to her guests.
