A 38 year old teacher identified as Alissa McCommon, has been arrested for the rape of her 12 Year old student. Alissa who was exposed for having sex with the minor, stated that she was pregnant and had plans of keeping the baby. The former fourth grade teacher was arrested in September 2023 on charges of raping a minor after making contact with the adolescent via SnapChat. The boy's parents contacted the police after their son received received several text messages ranging from threats to pleas from his teacher.

Alissa McCommon who is a married mother of two, was fired from her job at Charger Academy at the beginning of 2021 after being accused of having sex with the former student in her home. She also allegedly had sexual correspondence with several other students including sending nude photos of herself and asking them if they wanted to have sex, according to the Covington Police Department in Tennessee. The arrested sexual offender has been booked into the Tipton County Jail, and is due back in court on Monday, November 27. If convicted of the charges, Alissa McCommon can face a minimum sentence of 25 years according to the Tennessee law.
