"Stop Praying for Israel" Odumeje Warns Nigerian Clerics

Nigerian prophet, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly addressed by the mononym Odumeje, has in a video making the rounds on the internet, while speaking to the members of his congregation, warned his fellow clergymen to stop praying for Israel. The General Overseer of The Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry located in Onitsha, stated that any religious leader whom he hears praying for Israel, would face his wrath as he fully intends to make them "deaf and dump" if they do not heed his warning.

Odumeje asserted that these religious leaders were being hypocritical in praying for Israel while overlooking their own country Nigeria and its numerous problems. He admonished them to channel those prayers towards Nigeria and leave Israel to deal with their own issues. The controversial and often humourous prophet(who styles himself "The Rion") asked his fellow clergymen to pray for their president who "doesn't know left and right'.
