Popular Medical Doctor Found Guilty of Rape:Receives Life Sentence

 Medical Director of Optimal Cancer Care Foundation, Dr Olufemi Olaleye, has been found guilty of rape by Justice Rahman Oshodi of the Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court. The doctor was found guilty of defilement and sexual penetration of a 15 year old minor who happens to be his wife's niece. The judge stated that Olaleye’s confessional statement and exchange of WhatsApp and email messages with his wife were enough evidence against him.  The now convicted doctor received a double life sentence for the rape of the 15 year old minor.

Dr Olufemi Olaleye was first ousted on social in November 2022, by Nollywood actor Kate Henshaw who revealed that his wife had intimated her of her husband's heinous rape of her niece who had been living with the family at the time. The actor also confirmed that the doctor had confessed to the rape at first but retracted his confession and called her a liar afterwards. Kate Henshaw, who provided voice recordings and WhatsApp messages received from the doctor as evidence of his crime, was also present during the court proceedings where Dr Olaleye was handed his life sentence.
