Former First Lady of Nigeria, Dame Patience Jonathan has marked her 58th birthday in a quiet but stylish celebration. The occasion had in attendance her husband, former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and other high profile dignitaries, with the first first lady beaming in photos circulating social media.

Dame Patience Fakabelema Jonathan served as the First Lady of Nigeria from 2010 to 2015 and second lady of Nigeria from 2007 to 2010. She is the wife of former president and Vice president of Nigeria Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. She was also a Permanent Secretary in Bayelsa State. Fondly referred to as Mama P by Nigerians, the former first lady, has been recognized locally, nationally, and internationally for her philanthropic work and political pragmatism.
