Billionaire Businesman Donates 1 Million Naira to All 750 Students of Augustine University

 Billionaire businesman and entrepreneur, Femi Otedola, has donated a total of 750 million naira to all 750 students of Augustine University located in Ilara Epe, Lagos. The business mogul extended his generosity during his inauguration as Chancellor of the institution on Thursday 26th October 2023. In his post on his official social media platform, Femi Otedola stated that the purpose of his donation to all students of the University was to commemorate his appointment as well as in recognition of the harsh economic situation of the country.

Femi Otedola ( often self-styled as F.Ote$) is a Nigerian businessman and philanthropist. He is the former chairman of Forte Oil PLC, and the current executive chairman of Geregu Power PLC. Otedola has made several donations to the Michael Otedola University Scholarship Scheme, which was established in 1985 to give underprivileged students in Lagos State access to higher education. The billionaire philanthropist is father to singer and disc jockey Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy as well as blogger/actress Temi Otedola.
