Prophet Accused of Dodging Rent With Juju

 A self-acclaimed Zimbabwean prophet identified as Madzibaba Simbarashe Comrade Chinyanga has been accused of evading rent payment for six months through the use of black magic. According to reports, the prophet intimidated his landlord with various charms as well as with the use of a monitor lizard, whenever his payment for renting his apartment was demanded. Chinyanga had also gone on to physically assault a neighbour recruited by the landlord to collect the debt.

Following the attack on the neighbour, the landlord had lodged a report and demanded that the authorities expose Chinyanga's dubious means of extortion. The prophet was kicked out of his proper alongside his wife after some of his properly was destroyed. One of the neighbours told the police that the now arrested conman had ripped apart her mattress claiming it harboured a goblin responsible for her misfortune. She also lodged complaints of fraud against Chinyanga.
