Nyesom Wike Gifts New Cars to Abuja Traditional Rulers

 Former governor of Rivers state and current minister of The FCT, Nyesom Wike, has gifted 10 cars to government recognised traditional rulers in Abuja. The minister put up on his official social media platforms announcing this gesture and stated that the aim of the car gifts was to support local community management and improve security.  Nyesom Wike added that the government intends to work closely with these recognised traditional rulers as they are critical partners whose support would "greatly improve security in the FCT".

The FCT Minister handed over keys Nissan Semi SUVs to recognised chiefs from Yaba, Bwari, Pai, Garki, Rubochi, Jiwa, Gomani, Wako, Gwargwada and Zuba chiefdoms. While presenting the vehicles, Nyesom Wike also disclosed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had  directed the FCTA to make traditional rulers very comfortable by augmenting the little allowances the Area Councils provided them with.
