The Kano Matchmaking Marriage Association, also known as Mai Dalilin Aure, has offered four women as wives to Auwalu Salisu, the 22 year old Keke rider who returned the sum of N15 million to its owner, a passenger who forgot the money in his tricycle. Auwalu Salisu discovered the bag containing 15 million naira alongside some CFA Franc notes and gave them all back to the owner who is from the Republic of Chad.
Since his honest gesture, the young man has been getting recognition from government officials, groups and individuals. He has also received several gifts, including a new tricycle. The lastest gift comes from the matchmaking Association that promised Awalu his of four women to be selected from a group of 10. Speaking to Freedom Radio, Kano, Chairman of the association, Alhaji Mukhtar Inuwa Yakasai, revealed that of the 10 women offered the honest tricyclist, two were his own daughters. The association's chairman also noted that the integrity, honesty and trust displayed by the young man qualified him for the honour.

Speaking to BBC Pidgin, Auwalu Salisu revealed that he had no interest in the offer as his desire at the moment, was to return to school in order to complete his education. He stated that he'd think of marriage later in future after acquiring an education.
