Video: Jimmy Odukoya Chosen as Father's Successor

 Following the death and subsequent funeral of founder and General Overseer of The Fountain of Life Church located in Ilupeju Lagos, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, the church administration has chosen his son, Nollywood actor and Pastor Jimmy Othniel Odukoya as his father's successor.  His ordination is set to take place on Sunday 30tj September 2023, with his sister Tolu Odukoya Ijogun also taking her as the associate pastor. The church administration revealed that Jimmy's nomination as his father's successor was a decision prayerfully and unanimously reached.

Oluwajimi Odukoya is the son of deceased pastors Bimbo and Taiwo Odukoya. His father who passed away on 7th August 2023, was the founder of Fountain of Life Church and his mother Bimbo Odukoya, who died in 2005, was a pastor and televangelist. She was one of the passengers who died in the Sosoliso plane crash of December 2005. Jimmy started his professional acting career in 2016 and is known for his romantic roles in Nollywood films. Asides acting, Jimmy Odukoya is a pastor, singer, rapper and Businessman. His hit song "Stand By Me" is a popular one amongst teenagers.
